ok so far school holidays coming to an end already...now 1 more month of school then exam break then exams then 2 months break yipee!...can't wait man, i really need a loooong break...
i just recently (on saturday) got back from my class chalet...anthony rented a chalet at changi. so on friday at 1pm, my classmates: yan ling, chuan meng, pebble, benny, nicholas, joyce, gina and i met at tampines bus interchange at bus service 29...the rest meeting us later...so we took the bus..it was a loong ride to changi...when we arrive, well i thought chalet got like small bungalow or house or something like that...then anthony who met us there, pointed to the apartment above the shop...like a shophouse...said thats our apartment...situated behind changi village food court....and some of us were like..oh that one ar...not we expected really hehe...but it was nice and cosy furthermore it was only for 2days1night...
Day 1...Bike accident
ok don't worry its not those vroom vroom kind...its the ting ting kind but ar...k just read on...so when we arrived, we settled in...take in our surroundings...its a 3room apartment...2bedroom with 2 beds in it...then the 11 of us minus anthony, planned to go to eat the changi village before setting off to Pulau Ubin...at first don't feel like going but i wanna ride a bumboat so i went along...so the 12 of us: YL, CM, Evelyn, Pebble, Romain, Benny, Joyce, Gina, Terence, Nicholas and me...made our way to the changi point jetty...cost about $2 per person...the ride to ubin was woowee...man..it was so cool...the sea breeze and the weather and all just wow man...when we get there, the first thing i saw was dogs actually bike stalls but the most outstanding things are the dogs..man they're everywhere...walking around like its nothing...i guess its normal but some of them were huge man...so we rented the bicycle...okay i admit i dont really know how to ride a 2wheeler so i and YL paired up to take the 2 rider bike...the kind where 2 people ride one...another friend of mine also same case as me...so after everything settled, me adn YL tested the bike..everyone tested theirs and it was ok so we set off...at first a bit shaky but we managed and it was fun...hehe...we went through the jungle and villages..quite scary when paasing through jungles esp when we kena left behind but managed to catch up...the ground was muddy so quite slippery...we rode through different area...entering the malaysian zone i think ar cos my phone kept receiving messages then found out from maxis....5mins after i rec'd the messages, we were going down the slope...it was rough and at the same time slippery man...then the bike speed was fast cos i think the bike a bit faulty cos if we were to cycle at the same phase, it will go really fast..so when reached slope, we stop cycling and let the wheel do its work...skali kena the peak speed i think cos it just wouldn't stop and ahead of us was the normal kind of rough road so me and YL put our feet down to reduce the speed..not much help, even tried to use the break but damn to hell it wasnt working at all...then YL lost control of the bike and swerved it towards the jungle side near the trees...and we crashed...at first we didnt see the crash coming...thought we could handle it but apparently we can't...i saw YL fell so i braced myself and caught myself...YL suffered a bruised chin, knee, stomach and i not sure what else...i got a scrathed and bruised leg and arm..not much ar....damn man...but the fall was fun man..hehe...i even tore the knee of my favourite pants...then after YL didnt feel like cycling..so i said okay and we push our bikes till the end of the bike journey...along the way, we stopped at the orchid farm where this old man lived with his grandson and some pets...there was a wild boar, cute rabbits and some peacocks. then we set off...since me and YL not riding it, we were lacking behind and very slow so half way through, we were passing really creepy and deserted jungles that i thought we were lost. cos we didnt even hear any of our classmates anywhere...quite freaky la but in the end made it back to the begining...met by dogs again...then had some drinks then went back to mainland...it was almost 6 plus so the ride back, we were treated to this beautiful sunset...just wow man...then met up with some more classmates...went back to the chalet, wash up and get ready to go for dinner. then after dinner, we chit-chat a bit then some of them decided to check out the old changi hospital...i went along...just see see only ar not sure whether want to follow them in but just went with them...when arrive, quite eerie...then somemore my i got my *ahem* so i backed out..if not i went sia..so everyone went in except me, YL, Gina and Joyce...then those who went in joke ar..saying in 1hr call them if no one ans, call police...hehe...so off they went..then ard 12.43am, anthony, nicholas and terence came by...they went out earlier...we chatted along...get to know each other better and all...then after one hour, called CM, then he say give them another 1/2hr...so we say ok...before we know it, they were inside for 2 1/2 hrs man ard 2.30am then they came back saying at first quite scary but after a while quite boring...so then the 13 of us made our way back to the chalet...along the way, we decided to check out the 'bapok' action at the carpark nearby...man the 'bapok' just wow man..their body looks better than women...then we saw one exiting a car so some of the guys decided to tease ar...we then as a group, walked past them...and this are real bapoks man...those who really change their whole thing....pretty...
Day 2...Sunrise
it was nearing 3am when we reached the cheers opposite our chalet...where the guys bought beers and cups..went back to chalet....sit around watch tv...then the guys and some girls went into 1 room to play mahjong, talk and drink...beer stinks man..i can smell it from outside..i dunno how people can drink it....i mean it stinks and bitter and when you wake up, you get a hang-over...but i dont think any of them got that drunk...then around 5 am, thought about sleeping but then not fair to those who wants to sleep so i forgo it and went out to the corridor to see got any bapok action and man they're still there...then got this van keep rounding the carpark area...hehe...then ard 5.30am, joyce, nicholas, me, CM, eve, heliyanto and his gf and YL, went down to the coffee shop downstairs to eat breakfast...then after me, j, n and YL went down to the beach to catch the sunrise...a long wait but watching the sky change its colour was very wow...hehe...collected some rocks and shells, threw some rocks, wrote some names in the sand and all that crap..then went back to chalet wash up and at 9.40am, everyone packed up and got ready to go...
It was such a memorable time...not much went on but it was nice especially the Ubin trip....nice man...even though didnt get the chance to play in the water...hope to do it again and next time, i'll be prepared with my bike....
